We are now hiring a General Manager at our Holiday Inn Express location in North Platte, Nebraska. As a general manager, you will provide day-to-day leadership and direction driving development of people while creating and maintaining a unique guest experience. Executing brand standards and building awareness of the hotel and brand in the local and regional community.
Additionally, you will manage Financial Annual planning in collaboration with directors and owners to project sales through revenue and marketing plans to accurately forecast budgets and achieve required operating results. Utilize financials to drive revenues and maximize return on investment. Use distribution channels and technology platforms to drive revenue and maximize market share. Planning of capital improvements to increase the value of the asset while maintaining guest satisfaction.
Our people are our biggest asset. As the general manager you will develop and use programs that drive improvements in team member engagement and are aligned with the brand service behaviors. Develop, implement, and monitor team member succession planning to ensure future bench strength. Establish performance and development goals for team members and provide mentoring, coaching, and regular feedback to enhance performance. Oversee any salary, disciplinary or staffing/human resources related actions in accordance with company rules and policy.
Our guests satisfaction is critical to our success. You will drive improvement in guest satisfaction goals mandated by the brand. Collaborate with colleagues and hotel team members to establish and implement services and programs that meet or exceed guest expectations. QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Prior hotel experience preferred.
- Great communication skills.
- Conflict management skills are a must, as well as good interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and financial management skills.
- Ability to multi-task and provide exceptional leadership to all team members.
- Maintain a high level of professional appearance and demeanor.
